Step into the magic of Kirsty and Dale’s enchanting wedding at Ashton Lodge Country House, where rustic charm meets elegant romance. As a passionate wedding stylist, I had the honour of creating a dreamy sage green celebration that felt like a fairytale come to life. From the twinkling candle-lit aisle to the personalised touches, every detail was chosen to make this day uniquely special.
The Entrance:
What we love about this venue is that they include so many little touches for you, including their welcome sign. The team are passionate about weddings and it shines through at this exclusive use venue!
The Candle-Lit Aisle:
Imagine walking down an aisle bathed in the soft glow of candles. The intimate setting created by the flickering lights set the perfect scene for the couple’s journey into forever. Petals scattered along the path added a sweet touch, making the atmosphere as charming as it was romantic. Sage green chiffon drapes tied with matching ribbon lined the aisle.
Faux Foliage Signing Table:
The signing table, decked out with our faux foliage arrangement, became a symbol of the couple’s commitment. The greenery mirrored the promise of everlasting love, and the faux foliage brought nature indoors without the worry of wilting. It was a small detail that added a touch of freshness to the ceremony.
Sweetheart Table Transformation:
Post-ceremony, the faux foliage centrepiece found a new home at the sweetheart table, creating a seamless transition. The table became a cozy nook for the newlyweds, surrounded by the same greenery that witnessed their vows. It was a small detail, but one that added a touch of continuity to the celebration.
Custom Sage Backdrop with Neon Sign:
The showstopper of the day was the custom sage backdrop for the top table, featuring a Happily Ever After neon sign. This modern yet timeless combination created a picture-perfect background, setting the stage for some unforgettable moments and photos that captured the essence of the day.
Rosemary-Infused Place Settings:
Each place setting was a small work of art. Fresh rosemary sprigs delicately placed on napkins added a subtle fragrance to the air. It was a small touch that not only elevated the dining experience but also tied back to the natural theme of the celebration.
Conclusion:
In the heart of Ashton Lodge Country House, this sage green wedding was more than just a celebration; it was a day filled with warmth, love, and personal touches. From the candle-lit aisle to the Happily Ever After neon sign, every detail was chosen to make the day uniquely memorable. It was a celebration that blended elegance with a touch of nature, creating a day that felt like a dream for the couple and their guests.
I asked if there was a favourite part of the wedding my happy couple.
Kirsty said “In all honestly, when we spoke about this, we don’t actually have a particular favourite part. The day was absolutely perfect from start to finish and we wouldn’t change a thing.
I did really love seeing it all finally come together though all the planning and all the beautiful little details. You did an amazing job and made a beautiful venue even more stunning so that was lovely to see and made it so stress free.
You are so thoughtful and thought about the little things that I didn’t. I will always sing your praises and recommend you!! “
