Setting the Stage: The Navy, Champagne, and Ivory Palette

Our love story unfolded against a backdrop of navy, champagne, and ivory hues. The ceremony space featured a breathtaking split arch, a symbol of two lives intertwining. Adorned with champagne blooms, it set the stage for a day of elegance, fun and personal significance.

Acoustic Perfection

Our wedding day became a musical fairytale thanks to Alex Norman. Picture this: he serenaded me down the aisle, turning that moment into a real-life movie scene. But it didn’t stop there – Alex played all the tunes for the ceremony and kept the vibe going at the drinks reception. His music became the heartbeat of our celebration, turning an already special day into something downright magical.

Love in Bloom

Beautiful blooms added a splash of colour to our palette, full of dahlias and spray roses the brides bouquet was a masterpiece.

Rather than a buttonhole the groom opted for a pocket posy which was not only visually stunning but, easier to place than a traditional buttonhole!

Celebrating Our Love

We chose a celebrant-led wedding, it was an intimate affair that beautifully blended our families. Each child had a special role, and our personalised vows made the ceremony uniquely ours. Surrounded by loved ones, we celebrated not just our love but the ongoing chapter of our story, including a beautiful ring warming ceremony.

Who’s Punching? : Handcrafted Sign and Crystal Elegance

A handcrafted sign with champagne flowers proudly declared, “It Started with a Punch,” a playful nod to our unique love story that began in a boxing gym. Each place setting featured hand-sourced crystal and cut glass, distinct for each guest, adding a touch of personalised elegance. Glass beaded charger plates completed the picture of opulence.

Tablescapes with a Naval Tale: Navy Hats and Cap Tallies

Our reception tables were a canvas of naval history, adorned with navy hats bearing cap tallies from the ships my husband served on in The Royal Navy. These stylish accessories later became a lively addition to the dance floor as guests sported them while boogying. Tiny anchors graced the table plan, guiding guests through the nautical journey that unfolded on each table.

The amazing William Poliet entertained everyone during dinner with his table magic. Williams unassuming charm and baffling magic skills had our guests entertained and amused.

Favours took on a celestial charm with cupcakes adorned with delicate stars. These sweet treats not only tantalised taste buds but also seamlessly linked to the naval motif, a subtle nod to the vastness of our love story.

Blooms of Romance: Floral Bombs and Champagne Flowers

Our tables were adorned with floral masterpieces—floral bombs exploding in navy, champagne, and ivory, creating an enchanting atmosphere. The top table was crowned with rows of champagne flowers, a visual spectacle that radiated romance and luxury.

Cheers to Love: Bubbly Bar Ladders and Beer Barrow

The reception drinks were displayed with flair on bubbly bar ladders and a charming beer barrow. It wasn’t just a refreshment station; it was a visual feast contributing to the luxurious ambiance of the celebration.

A Surprise Symphony: Freddie Mercury and Brian May Take the Stage

In a nod to my fight nickname, Killer Queen, our evening reception reached an unexpected crescendo with a surprise appearance by aFreddie Mercury and Brian May tribute act. The iconic duo graced us with their presence, turning the celebration into a musical extravaganza that left everyone in awe.
