How Much Does Wedding Styling Cost? A Guide to Wedding Styling Prices
One of the first questions couples understandably ask us is: how much does wedding styling cost?
The answer depends enormously on your venue, guest numbers, the level of styling you would like and whether you are looking for styling alone or would like us to design your flowers alongside it.
At Kara Mia Venue Styling, our full-service wedding styling typically starts from £2,000 during peak wedding season.
Rather than choosing items from a catalogue and trying to piece everything together yourself, we design your wedding as a whole. From the way your ceremony feels when your guests first walk into the room to your tables, flowers, stationery, candles and finishing touches, everything should feel considered and connected.

What affects the cost of wedding styling?
Your guest numbers
Guest numbers make a difference because they affect the number of tables, chairs, centrepieces, place settings and other details required.
A wedding for 50 guests will naturally require fewer styling elements than a wedding for 120.
Your venue
Every venue needs something different.
A beautiful country house may need very little added to it, whereas a large blank room might need draping, lighting, statement florals or additional styling to completely change the feel of the space.
This is why we prefer to create individual proposals rather than trying to fit every wedding into the same package.
Flowers
Fresh flowers can make up a significant part of a wedding budget, particularly when you begin adding larger floral installations, ceremony flowers and abundant table arrangements.
Kara Mia offers both wedding styling and floristry, which means your flowers can be designed alongside the rest of your wedding rather than treated as something separate.
For many of our couples, this is where the biggest difference is made. Your bouquets, ceremony, tables, stationery and styling all follow the same design direction.
Statement pieces
Draping, floral installations, ceremony structures, hanging flowers and large-scale designs require more materials, preparation, installation time and often a larger team.
You don’t necessarily need lots of statement pieces. Often one beautifully designed focal point has considerably more impact than filling a room with smaller items.

What could a £2,000 wedding styling budget include?
There isn’t one fixed answer because we create each proposal around the individual wedding.
For one couple, £2,000 might be focused on beautiful table styling, candles, chair draping and a ceremony backdrop.
Another couple may prioritise their ceremony and choose more understated styling for their wedding breakfast.
We will always talk to you about where your budget will have the greatest impact rather than encouraging you to add things simply for the sake of filling a quote.
Styling and floristry together
This is where Kara Mia really comes into its own.
We can design your bridal flowers, ceremony flowers, centrepieces and floral installations alongside your wider venue styling.
It means you aren’t trying to coordinate several suppliers or hoping that the flowers, stationery, linens and styling all work together when they arrive.
We already know the full design.
Do you offer smaller wedding styling packages?
Our peak-season weddings generally have a £2,000 minimum investment for full-service styling.
We can sometimes be more flexible for weekday and off-season weddings, depending on the date, venue and requirements.
We also offer selected services such as personal wedding flowers separately where availability allows.
Is a wedding stylist worth it?
If styling your wedding is important to you, having somebody take responsibility for the entire visual side of the day can make an enormous difference.
It isn’t simply about hiring centrepieces.
It is having somebody consider proportions, colours, textures, flowers, room layouts, photographs, sightlines and all the small details that make everything feel intentional.
And then, while you’re getting ready on the morning of your wedding, our team is at your venue putting it all together.
