You’re getting ready to marry the love of your life, you have your perfect venue picked out.
But, how do you bring your style to your venue and reflect your unique love story?
Read on because we’ve got some brilliant tips on how you can bring you and your partners personality into your wedding venue.
Whether you’re chosen venue is a stately home or a rustic barn read on to find out more!
1. Your Table Plan
Lots of venues have their own easels you can use to hold your table plan. This does of course mean they will be used by most weddings they host. Our Grande easel makes a real statement and will make your wedding stand out from the rest. Our couple for the above table plan loved football, so this was a bespoke make with footballers names for the table names, and numbers on the shirt sleeves. We also incorporated their wedding colours of peach and ivory.
2. Chair Styling
If your venue has beautiful chairs or, banqueting chairs that you’d like to cover this can really incorporate your theme and colour scheme. Wooden or chiavari chairs can be made even more beautiful with chiffon drapes in so many different styles or ruffle hoods. Banquet chairs can be covered and then bring your colour scheme in by dressing them with ruffle hoods (our favourite) or a taffeta, satin or organza sash. Think rows and rows of perfect bows for your aisle chairs.
3. Choose a Statement Piece
It’s easy to get carried away and think that you need to style every single part of your venue. Unless you have a magically unlimited budget (the dream!) Then focussing on one or two really important installations will make the biggest impact. If you want to make a real feature of your cake our foliage hoop with ivory florals is the perfect way to do this. Ivory florals can be changed for flowers matching your colour scheme.
4. Your Wedding Aisle Styling
Without a doubt one of our favourite things to style is the aisle. After all isn’t that what we’re all here for-the ceremony? A focal point at the end of the aisle such as out archway that can be styled with florals, chiffon, foliage or a mixture of all of these looks amazing in ceremony photos. if you’re looking for something a little different our asymmetric split arch is another brilliant choice. Don’t forget the walk down the aisle too! Dressing these chairs so that they frame the aisle is a popular choice. We adore using out big floral bombs on glassware and plinths to bring the drama. Lanterns and candles are equally beautiful to make this most special of walks.
5. Light it Up!
Does anything say romance quite like lights? From Neon signs to fairy lights the options are endless. Some of our most sort after lights are our 4ft handmade rustic LOVE, 2ft rustic Mr & Mrs (or indeed Mr & Mr or Mrs & Mrs). Ever popular for top tables are a starlight back drop and top table skirt. Lastly it wouldn’t be a wedding styling blog without giving a special mention to candles. If your venue can’t have the real thing we have an extensive stock of realistic LED candles to bring the romantic vibes!
