Paul and Sally’s Ivory and Dusty Blue Wedding at Warwick House
Paul and Sally’s wedding at Warwick House took place on a beautiful, sunny day in June. Their day was filled with fun, laughter and so much love, with every part of the celebration feeling personal to them.
Their soft colour palette of ivory and dusty blue suited Warwick House perfectly, creating an elegant and romantic setting for the ceremony and wedding breakfast.
From the flowers and chair styling to the table details and personalised stationery, we carried the same colours throughout the venue so that every element felt connected and considered.

An Ivory and Dusty Blue Wedding Ceremony
For Paul and Sally’s ceremony at Warwick House, we styled an ivory floral arch with delicate dusky blue flowers added throughout. The blue flowers introduced their chosen colour palette while allowing the ivory florals to remain soft and timeless.
The ceremony chairs were dressed with flowing ivory drapes, finished with dusky blue ribbon bows. These framed the aisle beautifully and created a lovely connection between the ceremony styling and the details used later during the wedding breakfast.
A floral runner was added to the signing table, creating a beautiful setting for Paul and Sally to sign the register and capture their first photographs as Mr and Mrs Barton.
Blossom Trees, Floral Hoops and Candlelight
For the wedding breakfast, the guest tables were styled with a mixture of statement blossom trees and low ivory floral hoops.
Soft blue flowers were added to the ivory floral hoops to continue the dusty blue colour palette throughout the reception room. Candles were placed amongst the flowers, adding warmth to the tables and helping to create a welcoming atmosphere for Paul and Sally’s guests.
Using a mixture of taller blossom trees and lower floral arrangements added interest throughout the room while still allowing guests to see and speak to one another comfortably across the tables.
A Floral Top Table at Warwick House
Paul and Sally’s top table was styled with an ivory floral runner, with touches of dusky blue flowers woven throughout the arrangement.
The flowers flowed across the front of the table, creating a beautiful focal point without overwhelming the space. Dusky blue napkins were added to each place setting, bringing another layer of colour to the tables and complementing the bows used on the ceremony chairs.
Every part of the styling was designed to work together, from the ceremony flowers and chair details to the table flowers, candles and stationery.
Bringing Personal and Handmade Details Together
Sally also had some special elements that she was bringing into the wedding herself, including details that had been lovingly made by friends.
We wanted these personal touches to feel like a natural part of the finished styling rather than separate additions. We were able to match the fonts used on their bespoke menus to Sally’s existing pieces, helping everything sit beautifully together and keeping the overall look cohesive.
Including handmade and personal elements is such a lovely way to make a wedding feel individual. By considering them as part of the wider design, we could ensure they complemented the flowers, colours and stationery used throughout the day.
Bespoke Menus and Personalised Place Settings
One of our favourite details from Paul and Sally’s wedding was their bespoke wedding stationery.
Each guest received an individual menu finished with a dusky blue bow that matched the bows used on the ceremony chairs. The place settings were completed with personalised acrylic name tags.
As well as helping guests find their seats, the acrylic names created the perfect keepsake for them to take home and remember the day.
These thoughtful finishing touches made the tables feel personal while keeping the entire wedding design connected.
Sally’s Wedding Planning Advice
We asked Sally what advice she would give to other brides and couples currently planning their wedding.
“My advice to any other brides would be to stay calm and surround yourself with people who pick you up during the planning process, whether that’s your bridal party or your suppliers. And write everything down!
“On the day, my advice would be to live for it. Dance like nobody is watching, eat the food and drink the drink. It’s your day, so don’t sweat the small stuff.”
Sally’s advice perfectly reflects the atmosphere of their wedding. The day was full of laughter, fun and love, with Paul and Sally making the most of every moment surrounded by the people who mattered most to them.
After months of planning and making decisions, your wedding day is the time to enjoy everything you have created and trust the people around you to take care of the details.
