When love meets laughter and a bold burst of colour, you get a wedding like Louise and Charlie’s — a day full of heart, happiness, and vibrant details that brought their unique personalities to life. Held at the beautiful Windmill Village Hotel in Coventry, their wedding was a true reflection of fun, style, and connection, and we were thrilled to be part of it.

 

A Vibrant Ceremony in the Chapel Suite

The day began in the Chapel Suite, where we created a soft and romantic setting with ivory beam draping, chair and table draping, an ivory aisle carpet, and registra table draping. The space was adorned with bright, bold florals by Isabelle’s Flower Studio, paired with soft candlelight in glass cylinder vases framing the aisle, creating an atmosphere that was both warm and full of joy.

Louise told us one of her favourite moments was walking into the room for the first time:

“When the curtains opened and I saw Charlie for the first time, it took my breath away. Seeing everyone I loved, hearing the music we chose, and taking in all the colour nearly made me run down the aisle to marry him!”

Reception Details: Personality Meets Elegance

After the ceremony, the celebration continued in the Windmill Suite, where the colour and charm flowed effortlessly into the reception styling. The aisle candles and florals were repurposed into vibrant floral centrepieces, keeping the day sustainable and seamless.

We styled the tables with hunter green cheesecloth runners, hunter green napkins, and chiffon draping for the top table, perfectly complementing the florals. Every detail echoed the couple’s playful spirit — from the video game character table names with custom silhouettes to the coordinated on-the-day stationery, which included:

  • “Tonight’s Drinks Are Free, Tomorrow’s Memories Are Priceless” Sign
  • Personalised Place names & Table Names

The base palette of deep hunter green worked beautifully with the pops of colour, creating a striking and joyful contrast that felt fresh and fun, while still elegant.
